Wrong Numbers is the project of Chicago artist and musician Marcus Nuccio. When Marcus is not playing drums in Pet Symmetry, Coaster, What Gives, the Please and Thank Yous, and Mountains for Clouds, he is held up in his apartment making giddy synth-pop as Wrong Numbers. His EP "A Touch Tone Alone" is characterized by a hypnotic mix of electro-acoustic drum beats awash in edgeless synths, flickering bells, bubbly bass, chewy-sweet vocal melodies, and luminescent soundscapes. Having firmly planted the flag for galactic humanoid arm-chair music producers, Nuccio tours the synth cosmos in his DAW spaceship spreading his own brand of feel good extra-terrestrial bedroom pop.
